Shipping policy

We deliver The Wine Boutique orders anywhere in South Africa. Here's everything you need to know.

Where we deliver
We deliver across South Africa. Unfortunately we cannot ship outside the country.

How long it takes
• Western Cape: 2–3 working days
• Gauteng, KZN, Free State, North West, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, Limpopo: 3–5 working days
• Outlying areas: Up to 7 working days

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will go out the next working day.

Delivery cost
Delivery is calculated at checkout based on your address and order size. We use RAM COURIERS (Hand-to-Hand) for nationwide deliveries.

Age verification on delivery
All alcohol deliveries in South Africa legally require age verification on arrival. The recipient must be 18 or older and must present valid ID (South African ID, driver's licence or passport) when signing for the parcel. Couriers will not leave alcohol with anyone who cannot provide proof of age.

What if I'm not home?
If the courier can't deliver on the first attempt, they'll try again or contact you to arrange redelivery. Some couriers will deliver to a neighbour if they're 18+ and can sign for it on your behalf.

Tracking
Every order gets a tracking number sent to your email. Use it to follow your delivery from our door to yours.

Bottle damage
We pack carefully, but if a bottle arrives damaged, photograph it before opening, keep all packaging, and email hello@balitradingwine.co.za within 48 hours of delivery. We'll sort it out.

Click & collect
Live in or passing through Riversdale? Order online and collect from our N2 store. Skip the delivery fee and pick up at your convenience. See our Click & Collect page for details.
