About the boutique
Where are you based?
Bali Wine Boutique is on the N2 National Road in Riversdale, Western Cape – between Cape Town and the Garden Route. The boutique is on the same premises as Bali Trading, our family's wholesale home decor business.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-3pm. Closed Sundays and public holidays.
Who picks the wines?
Danie Geldenhuys, the boutique's owner and a winemaker by trade. Every bottle on these shelves has earned its place.
Ordering and delivery
Do you deliver?
Yes, anywhere in South Africa. See our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.
How long does delivery take?
2–3 working days for the Western Cape, 3–5 working days elsewhere in South Africa. Outlying areas can take up to 7 working days.
Can I collect my order in person?
Yes. Choose Click & Collect at checkout and pick up from our Riversdale store, free of charge. Details on our Click & Collect page.
Do I need an account to order?
No, guest checkout is available. But signing up makes future orders faster and lets you track your history.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major South African credit and debit cards, EFT and Instant EFT. All processed securely via Payfast.
Age and delivery
Why do I need to verify my age?
South African law requires it. We can't sell alcohol to anyone under 18, and couriers can't deliver it to anyone under 18 either.
What ID do I need on delivery?
A valid South African ID, driver's licence or passport. The recipient must be 18 or older.
Can someone else collect or accept my order?
Yes, as long as they're 18 or older and can produce valid ID. They'll need to sign for the parcel.
Returns and faulty wine
What if I open a bottle and it's faulty?
Recork it, take a photo, and email us at hello@balitradingwine.co.za within 14 days. We'll arrange a replacement or refund. Full details on our Returns page.
What if a bottle arrives broken?
Photograph it before opening anything, keep the packaging, and email us within 48 hours of delivery.
Other
Do you do gift wrapping?
Not at this stage, but it's something we're looking into for the future.
Do you have a wine club?
We're working on it. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when it launches.
Can I buy in bulk for my restaurant or guesthouse?
